How to book your castle?
To book your castle simply follow these steps:
- Call us on 1 800 830 403 or go to our enquiry page and send us a message.
- The office will confirm with you if your castle is available on the date requested and confirm the details of the booking.
- Our office will then confirm your booking via email.
- A $50 deposit is required upon booking. Like any reputable company we require a deposit at time of booking in order to secure your castle. This removes your castle from the availability list on your hire date. This can be paid by cash, direct deposit, eftpos, visa, mastercard or pre-approved corporate cheques.
What happens after I book my castle?
- The Thursday prior to the event our staff will be in contact to let you know the delivery times for your hire.
- On the day of your hire one of our friendly staff will attend your home or party site and completely install the jumping castle, which includes a complete pre-operational safety check. We install all our castles to meet Australian standards. This will take approximately 30 minutes. We will also take you through the safe operations of the castles and train you in how to operate and supervise your party. Note: We will provide all extension cords and a safety mat to go at the entrance of the castle.
- Payment is due on arrival so please ensure that you have it ready for our installers. Payment on the day can be made my cash, eftpos, visa or mastercard.
How much are the castles?
The pricing of all our jumping castles is available online. Simply choose your castle theme and length of hire. The hire price will be shown. Supervision by our qualified staff and franchisees is available at $30.00 per hour in addition to the hire fee (min 2 hrs).
Do you have insurance?
We hold a current AAPRA approved insurance policy for twenty million ($20,000,000) products and public liability. We recommend that before entering into any hire with any company that you request proof of insurance of at least $20,000,000 covered by an Australian registered insurer.
Are your themes exclusive?
Cheeky Jumping castles is the sole franchisee of 'Speciality Castles' in Brisbane and has a large range of exclusive themes and styles. We are the exclusive licensees of the Wiggles, Hi-5, Spiderman, Star Wars, Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank and Barbie. Our castles and operations have been thoroughly tested by our brands and 'Speciality Castles' which is why we have been trusted with the responsibility of bringing you their range of castles.
How many castles are available for hire?
We currently have 28 castle themes available for hire. With further orders on the way from our manufacturer, our range and number of castles will increase in line with demand. Booking earlier usually ensures that you will get the theme of your choice on the date you require.
When can I hire a castle?
Hire times are between 7am and 6pm. Please contact our office for overnight hire options.
Can the castles be installed on a hard surface such as concrete or bitumen?
Yes, however please advise our office on booking so that we can include sandbags and a ground tarp in your order (this is at no additional charge).
Can the castles be installed inside?
Yes, however please ensure that you have enough height clearance. The castles range from 4m - 5m tall. See website for individual castle measurements. You will need to advise this upon booking as we will ensure that sandbags are added to your order (no additional charge).
Do I need power to operate the castle?
Yes the castle blowers require household 240 volt power. The power outlet must be within 20 metres of the installation site. Alternatively, Cheeky Jumping Castles can hire you a portable generator which will supply power to the blower. You can hire the generator when making your booking for the castle. Can I have a jumping castle at a park or public place?
Yes, Cheeky Jumping Castles conducts hundreds of hires in public places each year. However, if you are having your function at a park it is important that you contact the relevant local council to book the park and advise that a castle is being used at the party.
You will need to ensure that power is available. Alternatively, we do hire generators for an additional cost. Please also check if you are allowed to use pegs or if sandbags are required.
For safety reasons a supervisor (over the age of 18 years of age) must be present at all times during the hire period, regardless of whether the castle is inflated or deflated. Should you require a supervisor, we are happy to provide one of our staff to run the castle for the day at a rate of $30 per hour.

What happens if I cancel or need to postpone my booking?
In the event that you need to cancel your booking, your booking deposit is transferable to any future booking within 12 months of making your cancellation. The booking deposit is non-refundable unless it is due to wet weather (see below).
Cancellation Policy
- Your deposit is non-refundable, however is transferable for 12 months.
- 50% cancellation fee if canceled after 9am on the Tuesday prior to your event, up until 1pm the day before your event.
- 75% cancellation fee if canceled after 1pm the day before your event until 7am the day of your event.
- 100% cancellation fee if made after 7am on the day of your event.
Wet Weather Policy
Most castles have a canopy that will stop light rain, so hire can continue as normal. Strict supervision will be required, especially when children are entering and exiting the castle. In the event of a rainy day, you have the option to proceed with the hire as normal or you may cancel your booking by contacting our office before 7am. The balance of the hire will not be payable if you choose this option. If you choose to proceed, our staff will train you in what to do in the event of rain throughout the day.
The cancellation can only be made on the day of delivery, not the days prior. This is because weather forecasts are often not accurate and can change dramatically overnight. This is not applicable for Bop Along Buddy, Fairy Floss, Popcorn or Snow Cone machine hire.
In the case of dangerous weather (heavy rain, hail, extremely high winds, etc.) no cancellation fee will apply. Our office will contact you to discuss this early on the morning of the hire.
